My Walk-Thru Stops For Some Users

Question

Some of my users need to complete an extra step in the process I’m building a Walk-Thru for. How can I make sure my Walk-Thru will work for all users?

Answer

In many cases, users will have slight variations in how they complete a process. One or more of the Steps in your Walk-Thru may not be applicable to all of the users. For example:

  • A process may be different across roles in the organization
  • A user can make a choice that affects how the Walk-thru proceeds
  • There are many outcomes to a process

To resolve this issue Turn Skippable ON. Turning Skippable ON tells WalkMe to skip any step that does’t appear for a particular user during a Walk-Thru.
