Mobile Menu Deploy Page in Console

Brief Overview

The Deploy Mobile page in the Menu Console enables organization-wide installation and deployment of the mobile menu. The Mobile app can be downloaded via App Store or Google Play.

Step 1: Configure

The WalkMe Menu now supports three login modes — LiteGradual, and Standard — giving organizations more flexibility in how users access content on the mobile menu.

2. MDM Profile

Use this step to configure your MDM (Mobile Device Management) system to distribute the Workstation Mobile app to managed devices in your organization.

Follow these steps in your MDM system:

  1. Create a configuration profile for the Workstation Mobile app
  2. Add the required parameters from Step 1 (Configuration profile)
  3. Use either XML or JSON format, depending on what your MDM system supports
    • Supported MDM tools: Microsoft Intune and Kandji

Other MDM platforms may work but have not been officially tested. If using a different MDM, we recommend validating the deployment independently.

Format examples:

Select either the XML or JSON tab in the console to view sample configurations. Copy the appropriate format and paste it into your MDM system.

3. Deploy

  1. Click Send Invite to send an email invite to your IT team. This will give them access to the page so that they can help with deployment
  2. Download the application file for your needed mobile platform
