WalkMe Menu – Slack Integration

Brief Overview

Slack is a messaging app for business that connects people to the information they need. By bringing people together to work as one unified team, Slack transforms the way organizations communicate.

In the menu, users have a quick access to messages and files sent on Slack.

Use Cases

Search for Slack messages

Fields displayed in the search result:

• Title
• Type - Message
• Created date

Search for files sent via Slack

Fields displayed in the search result:

• Title
• File type
• Created date

Configure Slack in WalkMe Console

1. Navigate to the menu Integrations page in the WalkMe Console
2. Find the Slack integration and click Enable

Connecting Slack on WalkMe Menu

1. Open the desktop menu by clicking the widget (on Windows) / the WalkMe icon (on the Mac Menu bar), or by hitting ctrl/cmd+shift+E

2. Click the Settings icon on the bottom-left corner

3. On the Integrations tab, click Connect on the Slack card
