Datadog WalkMe Sub-Processor

Last Updated December 8, 2025

Introduction

We're adding Datadog, Inc. as a WalkMe sub-processor for application monitoring and logging. This update helps us unify our monitoring systems and improve visibility into operational performance.

Protecting your data is central to WalkMe's infrastructure, products, and internal operations. Our security processes and collaboration with the wider security community help us identify and address vulnerabilities quickly.

WalkMe engages only trusted sub-processors who maintain strong technical and organizational controls. Our vendor risk management program evaluates all third-party sub-processors, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 verification, annual assessments, contractual reviews, and continuous cyber-posture monitoring through Panorays. Each sub-processor is required to meet WalkMe's contractual standards and maintain protections consistent with our Data Processing Agreements.

Data protection is a core part of our service, and our investments in security and expertise ensure that your data is processed only to deliver WalkMe services—and always under your control.

Datadog

Datadog is a cloud-scale monitoring service that provides dashboards, alerts, and insights based on key operational metrics. As part of this integration, Datadog will process server and application logs, which may include customer personal data.

Datadog gives WalkMe a unified source of monitoring data and lets us manage information from multiple systems in one place. The WalkMe architecture remains the same; the only change is the consolidation of monitoring workflows.

Data Hosting Location

Your data remains hosted in its current region. Data hosted in the United States or European Union will continue to be stored in the same region on Datadog servers.

WalkMe relies on trusted cloud service providers such as AWS and GCP. Datadog will monitor these environments without changing how data is stored or processed.

Log data is stored securely and retained for 60 days, based on log type and purpose. Datadog complies with multiple standards, including CSA, SOC, and ISO certifications.
