• The Activity Log API will soon support action_type attribute

• The count definition for ShoutOut interaction has been updated for “Top WalkMe Items” to match the definition of “WalkMe Usage by Item Type” on both the Insights Overview and Apps Overview pages in Insights

• The metrics text for the "Searches Resulted in Action" widget in the Menu & Search app page in Insights has been updated
• It was changed to “% of all searches” instead of "% of all searches resulted in action" to be more accurate

• Support for some date formats has been added, including:

• This will help to avoid complicated parser-based solutions that were used before to answer the request from customers
• These dates formats are only supported in English

• CSS validation message was added to both local and global CSS consoles

• The validation contains error code location to help the user quickly locate it

• When applying the rule type "User attributes", users were unable to write a rule based on a property from an integration that is of type "Boolean"
• This was fixed - the Rule Engine now also supports "Boolean" properties coming from any integration

• Build better audiences with new rules: You can now create audiences using 'is,' 'is not,' and 'like' terms

• Editing audiences is disabled only when there is active notifications: Previously any notifications, including archive and draft, disabled editing

• Know which notifications are affected when you edit an audience: A new message appears in the Edit Audience page listing active, draft, or scheduled notifications assigned to this audience

• Hover over a property's filter to view a list of all IDs associated with the selected property: Now you can quickly see who is in what department without clicking on it
• View and search recipients of an audience in the right panel: Where there was just a number, now there is a number and a list! Scroll or search to ensure everyone you intend will get your notification
• Access editing via the Recipients List: There is now an Edit Audience button on the bottom of the list

In order to make reports more efficient, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly email subscriptions will only be available for certain date ranges. Each date range will offer an optimal frequency. Existing subscriptions will not be affected, until they are edited and then the new changes will take effect.

You can now filter data according to session ID in Insights.

A 'Go to' button was added to the connect to Smart Walk-Thru step menu allowing you to navigate to a connected Smart Walk-Thru from within the parent Smart Walk-Thru.

Introducing WalkMe Onboard: a self-paced in-product app that guides new WalkMe users through important steps in the onboarding journey, including:

• An introduction to WalkMe’s products and capabilities
• A guided technical setup of the WalkMe platform

To account for a UI change on the Salesforce Lightning search bar and to ensure WalkMe content continues to play, a DeepUI update was deployed to all Lightning customers who have Smart Walk-Thru steps attached to the Lightning search bar. No customer action needed.

Use data from any system to automatically trigger a notification via Workstation - keeping users up-to-date always

WalkMe's Element Library for Workday has been updated for 2022 R2

• Update: The input field automatically adds a security protocol.  The protocol was changed from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’,  which is a more advanced and secure version.
• Update: Any input that begins with a dynamic value (var/wm-data/jquery/cookie) will no longer require ‘http://’
• New: Users can now add a mailto link page action, redirecting to the default email application.

You can now make a balloon point to the center of the text inside the element, even if the text is not aligned to both sides.

The Collection Enablement and Session Playback tabs are now open for all systems and environments so settings can be changed before publishing

On November 11th 2022, Microsoft is turning off a service that older (1.x) versions of the Dynamics CRM package rely on Customer action required: 

• If you have the old package, you need to update to the latest 2.x version
• Affected customers will be contacted by WalkMe throughout August with support on how to update

New and improved design for the Editor login page. You can now select which data center you are using from a dropdown

Classic ShoutOuts and Notifications are no longer accessible in Workstation and Desktop Editors. 

• • Clicking Notification now opens the Communication Center in the Console
  • You can no longer create new Classic ShoutOuts or Edit / Publish existing ones
  • Analytics will still be available in Insights

The new system view guides users through the key steps of creating and maintaining systems

The new roles & permissions page presents user management architecture and detailed role permissions that eliminate the need for custom roles

Starting January 2023, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge will discontinue support for a key element that makes our browser extension work. WalkMe’s new v 4.x.x.x User Extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge includes improvements and solves this issue. It will be released on July 17, 2022.

• WalkMe will automatically gradually migrate the majority of existing Chrome and Edge extensions
• Most customers will not need to take any action and this will have no effect on operations
• We will reach to discuss the installation process with any customers who need to take action

Firefox’s changed security policy in v 101.0.1 blocks the WalkMe extension by default for cross-domain storage

The Users page has been reintroduced with the same useful data, but with added filtering capabilities and improved design.

Based on technical limitations, it is no longer possible to add a system inside Systems Overview in Insights.

You can now filter data by time range in UI Intelligence. This can be set for a specific form or via the dashboard view.

Capture an element on the Microsoft Dynamics sidebar and the related WalkMe item will play whether the sidebar is expanded or collapsed. This only affects new captures.

Use an array type to group IDP attributes and use it for segmentation or Insights filters

This version contains a development regarding Process Discovery for Chrome, Edge Chromium & Firefox extensions that does not affect the end-user.

Insights Digital Adoption Projects templates now support SuccessFactors in addition to Salesforce Lightning

• The rule type "User Activity > Onboarding Task" now supports checking if an Onboarding Task was completed in any case, whether it was set up to measure by goal completion or by Smart Walk-Thru completion.
• This applies to rules that already exist in the Editor - once you open the Rule Engine, you'll see the change. This does not affect the way the rule is checked.

The Element Library for Salesforce Lightning is now up to date with the Summer 2022 release

You can now export data to xAPI format from the TeachMe Users page to integrate with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• You can now use the multiple value syntax when creating multiple statements in one rule
• To add multiple values, type in Any("value1","value2","value3")

The new Dynamics package version 2.2.1 includes support for WalkMe loading within Microsoft Dynamics views in Teams. Note: this is not a general solution for WalkMe on Teams, rather a specific solution for Dynamics views within Teams

You can now use the User Identifier settings in the Editor as a fallback method to detect the end-user identifier when IDP authentication fails. If you are interested in enabling this for your account, please speak to your WalkMe Customer Success Manager.

• Identifies deployables downloaded from the Solutions Gallery as template-deployables 
• Restricts deployables from being reused in new user-generated Solution Templates hosted within the My Solutions catalog of the Solutions Gallery

Improvements have been made to the Visual Designer used when creating ShoutOuts.

Report Builder templates can now support incoming integrations attributes as new dimension columns when editing custom reports.

• On Sunday, April 10th, starting at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm ISR time, the Apps Group will migrate the Solutions Gallery infrastructure within the EU Data Center and the US Data Center's production environments.
• The scheduled maintenance includes the migration between AWS accounts of the Solution Gallery's application's core infrastructure, database, dialog-manager, dialog-processor, and dialog-UI.
• The Solutions Gallery infrastructure migration will result in Solutions Gallery downtime only during this estimated three hours of maintenance.
• The Editor and Player will not experience downtime during this scheduled maintenance.

You can now create multiple Custom Triggers (up to 20) and name each Trigger.

You can now click on users metrics and a panel will open with the users list in the Apps Overview and Apps pages in Insights. This list can be downloaded as a CSV file.

You can now add rating questions to Surveys.

The WalkMe IE extension now supports IE mode in Edge.

WalkMe's Solution Accelerators for Workday have been updated for 2022 Release.

Dynamics Server / On Premise customers can now download a special version of the Dynamics package that is fully supported and tested on Dynamics on prem 9.0+

The new “Smart Walk-Thru fillers” feature allows for Smart Walk-Thrus running on the Workday platform to be automatically adjusted in accordance with flow changes dictated by Platform updates. The initial implementation of this feature supports the change in the new Workday Homepage where the “Worklets” (used to navigate to the different Workday Apps) have been removed from the Homepage and placed in a Modal window, requiring an additional step to open this Modal. The Flow change introduced with the “Smart Walk-Thru fillers” in this case is adding the auto-click to open the Modal, thus enabling the next step in the flow to play uninterrupted.

Improvements have been made to Workstation, including new app integrations, layout changes, and bug fixes.

1. The call-to-action for user-generated Templates within My Solutions has changed from "Use Solution" or "Use Again" to "Edit My Solution"
   1. Clicking the new call-to-action opens the Edit Template popup modal
   2. The "Edit Template" dropdown item has been removed from the three-dot ellipsis
2.  Solution Tags have been relocated to the Create/Edit Template popup modals
   1. Users can modify Solution Tags directly from the Solution Preview's Description tab
   2. The "Edit Template Tag" dropdown item has been removed from the three-dot ellipsis.

Shuttles created in Workstation now generate a QR code that can be used to open the Shuttle link.

IDP Integration now supports Boolean type imported properties.

UI Intelligence now supports ServiceNow systems.

You can now switch systems in Insights using the dropdown in the profile menu.

You can now open an ActionBot conversation from a Smart Walk-Thru Page-Action step.

Improvements have been made to Workstation, including new search services (Zendesk), layout fixes, and app integrations improvements.

Communication Center is now available for all users with a Workstation system.

The ability to toggle off the ripple effect of auto-steps for a specific step was available only for Click action. Users can now toggle off the ripple effect for all other actions:

• • Hover
  • Focus
  • Fill Text
  • Select List Value
  • Right Click

• The "End Users and WM Engagement" template has been updated and now includes the SmartTip set name and ID fields.
• The "Smart Walk-Thru Analysis" template has been updated to address a use case where SWT steps data is mixed with SWT data.
• Note: Reports created based on the previous template version will not be updated retroactively.

The following columns were removed from the "Systems Used" table:

• • License Per User (Total Spent)

You can now easily edit the internal title for Notifications from the Notifications table view.

You can now edit and recapture Tracked Events - You will be prompted to confirm you want to apply changes if there are any items affected.

A new field was added to the Engagement By Deployables and Engagement By Deployables and Language Insights Common Reports and the All Systems - Engagement By Deployables Enterprise Level Report showing the Item ID.

This version contains a development regarding IDP.

This version contains a fix that enables using custom storage in the Editor extension.

User experience improvements were made to quiz creation, including adding a warning message prior to deleting a question, and the ability to quickly add additional distractors to a question by clicking enter.

Performance improvements were made to the Drag & Drop mechanism.

New updates to the WalkMe Editor and WalkMe Extension became available on January 31, 2022.

This version contains a development regarding IDP and extension storage support.

This version contains a fix regarding Editor position according to taskbar location.

Improvements have been made to Workstation, including enhanced search bar experience and indication for the new updates available.

• New GDPR-compliant transactional infrastructure allows builders to access and share Solution Template content in both the US and EU data centers via Solution Distribution Keys

WalkMe's Solution Accelerators for Salesforce Lightning have been updated for the Spring 2022 release and now include: "Spring '22 - What's New?" - Aimed at helping users learn of new features included in the release.

Improvements have been to the Editor UI, including new icons and changing the location of several buttons:

  • Create new deployables buttons are now Blue

A new field was added to the Walk-Thru Total Plays Insights Common Report and the All Systems - Walk-Thru Total Plays Enterprise Level Report showing the Walk-Thru ID.

You can now drag and resize Resources and the "Remind me next time" Notification action button text changed to "Remind me in an hour".

WalkMe's Element Library for Salesforce Lightning is now up to date with Spring '22.

• The Users Page is now available in its full format for accounts with Unique User Identifier setting set to "WM ID" and "None"
• The Admin header now redirects users to http://admin.walkme.com/ instead of http://dap.walkme.com/ 

Chrome & Edge Chromium v3.1.163, Firefox v3.1.67 This version contains several changes:

• • Build/Play mode feature is now available
  • Browser will not be refreshed in the following cases: Editor is logged-in/open, and while changing systems within the Editor
  • When in Play mode, the connection indicator will not be displayed and the color of the Build/Play icons in the Editor will be dark-blue (Build) and royal-blue (Play)
  • Build/Play mode - Enable logs export from the connection indicator

Chrome & Edge Chromium v3.3.156, Firefox v3.3.154 This version contains a development regarding Process Discovery - Adding support to Process Discovery for multiple Chrome windows.

Users with Admin permissions can now invite new or existing account users to a System directly from the Editor.

Multiple browser profiles are no longer needed - you can now quickly toggle between Build and Play mode in the WalkMe Editor.

IDP integration now supports enabling a provider for a specific system only on Test Environment, or on all other Environments.
