• The Activity Log API will soon support action_type attribute

• Soon you will be able to censor URLs for Session Playback recordings using regex

• The Workstation bubble was added to the home screen to allow users easy access to Workstation
• You can now disable or modify the URL of the feedback button

• You can now censor element names that include periods in Insights by ID and class

• Instead of refreshing the editor to see the new auto-generated keywords, you can now save and reopen the item

• You can now click on a video and see a "Learn more" button that will open a page with more information

• WalkMe will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on both the US Data Center and the European Union Data Center's production environments to improve our database and cloud infrastructure.
• Scheduled maintenance will occur on:

    • 2:00 am - 6:00 am EST (Eastern Standard Time)
    • 9:00 am - 1:00 pm IST (Israel Standard Time)
    • During this time, the WalkMe Editor and Console will be down as the maintenance takes place.

• The count definition for ShoutOut interaction has been updated for “Top WalkMe Items” to match the definition of “WalkMe Usage by Item Type” on both the Insights Overview and Apps Overview pages in Insights

• The metrics text for the "Searches Resulted in Action" widget in the Menu & Search app page in Insights has been updated
• It was changed to “% of all searches” instead of "% of all searches resulted in action" to be more accurate

• The Activity Board is now available in Japanese
• Note: Only the Activity Board was translated initially, email subscription is still only available in English and will be available in Japanese soon

• You can now create reports with the Report Builder using the new "Add Report" button on the Reports page in Insights

• ActionBot conversations in Workstation can now be segmented using IDP segmentation

• For accounts with WalkMe Engagement Analytics data collection levels, the “Capture event” button in the Tracked event setup page will appear as disabled
• When hovering over the disabled button a tooltip will appear with a message detailing how to enable DXA

• The Entire Date Range view in Funnels has been renamed to Total Sessions
• New tooltips were added to improve understanding
• Single Session view is now the default when viewing a Funnel

• Coming soon! On November 27, builders can add placeholder text as a guidance SmartTip
• Placeholders are immediately visible in a text field
• There's no need to hover to get the guidance. Placeholders disappear when a user starts typing

• jQuery version 3.6.0 is now available, this version includes security patches and other bug fixes

• Accounts with only one system will now skip the Systems Overview page as their landing page and go directly to the Insights Overview page

• WalkMe extension storage is getting updated
• This new solution allows content to play seamlessly and securely on cross-domain environments when WalkMe is implemented with a browser extension
• Compatible with the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge Chromium
• This capability also comes with ability to use a storage API when needing to clear WalkMe data while testing

• All Insights & Data customers that have allowlisted domains will be required to add access for all users to one of these two subdomains by January 15, 2023
• This will allow continued access to functionality we add to features like the Activity Dashboard

• Hover over a step in the Mobile Editor and click the duplicate icon for faster building

• All goal related tabs, segments, dropdowns, and reports will be renamed, but the functionality remains the same

• Page Action step is now called Action step. We’ve updated the Page Action step name to Action to better reflect the step’s capabilities

• Action step icons got a new look. The icon displays the selected action which gives you a visual indicator of what the step does

• Play ShoutOut from an Action step. You can now play a ShoutOut from a Smart Walk-Thru using the Action step

• Support for some date formats has been added, including:
• • dd-MMM-yyyy
  • Month d, yyyy
  • Mth d, yyyy
  • d month yyyy
• This will help to avoid complicated parser-based solutions that were used before to answer the request from customers
• These dates formats are only supported in English

• CSS validation message was added to both local and global CSS consoles

• For cases that are not critical, only a warning will be displayed

• If the error is critical, user won't be able to save the changes until errors are fixed

• The validation contains error code location to help the user quickly locate it

• When applying the rule type "User attributes", users were unable to write a rule based on a property from an integration that is of type "Boolean"
• This was fixed - the Rule Engine now also supports "Boolean" properties coming from any integration

• 10 exciting new product updates have been added this quarter, including enhancements to Workstation, UI Intelligence, Activity Board, Smart Walk-Thrus, and more

• DocuSign Integration, Offline Mode Behavior, and more new capabilities and bug fixes included within versions released in October 2022

• In compliance with the Clickjacking | OWASP Foundation guidelines for software security, we now prevent our slideshow iframe to be cross-origin embedded in third-party sites

• Survey responses in the Insights apps pages are now called "Survey Submissions"

• Build better audiences with new rules: You can now create audiences using 'is,' 'is not,' and 'like' terms

• Editing audiences is disabled only when there is active notifications: Previously any notifications, including archive and draft, disabled editing

• Know which notifications are affected when you edit an audience: A new message appears in the Edit Audience page listing active, draft, or scheduled notifications assigned to this audience

• Hover over a property's filter to view a list of all IDs associated with the selected property: Now you can quickly see who is in what department without clicking on it
• View and search recipients of an audience in the right panel: Where there was just a number, now there is a number and a list! Scroll or search to ensure everyone you intend will get your notification
• Access editing via the Recipients List: There is now an Edit Audience button on the bottom of the list

• Chrome Editor Extension v3.1.189 now uses Manifest V3 technology
• In the upcoming days we will release this version to the Edge Web Store and the WalkMe CDN

• WalkMe will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on our systems as migration of services from the former 'Apps' group to Action's Prod account takes place.
• Scheduled maintenance will occur on Sunday, October 2nd.

WalkMe’s Element Library for Lightning has been updated for the Winter 2023 release

• Consider updating any Editors that are connected to our Salesforce Lightning Element Library to the new version based on your release maintenance plans.

In order to make reports more efficient, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly email subscriptions will only be available for certain date ranges. Each date range will offer an optimal frequency. Existing subscriptions will not be affected, until they are edited and then the new changes will take effect.

You can now filter data according to session ID in Insights.

A 'Go to' button was added to the connect to Smart Walk-Thru step menu allowing you to navigate to a connected Smart Walk-Thru from within the parent Smart Walk-Thru.

Introducing WalkMe Onboard: a self-paced in-product app that guides new WalkMe users through important steps in the onboarding journey, including:

• An introduction to WalkMe’s products and capabilities
• A guided technical setup of the WalkMe platform

To account for a UI change on the Salesforce Lightning search bar and to ensure WalkMe content continues to play, a DeepUI update was deployed to all Lightning customers who have Smart Walk-Thru steps attached to the Lightning search bar. No customer action needed.

Use data from any system to automatically trigger a notification via Workstation - keeping users up-to-date always

• In order to make reports more efficient, in the upcoming week Daily, Weekly, and Monthly email subscriptions will no longer be available for all date ranges, instead each date range will have an optimal frequency offered.

WalkMe's Element Library for Workday has been updated for 2022 R2

• Update: The input field automatically adds a security protocol.  The protocol was changed from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’,  which is a more advanced and secure version.
• Update: Any input that begins with a dynamic value (var/wm-data/jquery/cookie) will no longer require ‘http://’
• New: Users can now add a mailto link page action, redirecting to the default email application.

You can now make a balloon point to the center of the text inside the element, even if the text is not aligned to both sides.

The Collection Enablement and Session Playback tabs are now open for all systems and environments so settings can be changed before publishing

On November 11th 2022, Microsoft is turning off a service that older (1.x) versions of the Dynamics CRM package rely on Customer action required: 

• If you have the old package, you need to update to the latest 2.x version
• Affected customers will be contacted by WalkMe throughout August with support on how to update

New and improved design for the Editor login page. You can now select which data center you are using from a dropdown

Classic ShoutOuts and Notifications are no longer accessible in Workstation and Desktop Editors. 

• • Clicking Notification now opens the Communication Center in the Console
  • You can no longer create new Classic ShoutOuts or Edit / Publish existing ones
  • Analytics will still be available in Insights

The new system view guides users through the key steps of creating and maintaining systems

The new roles & permissions page presents user management architecture and detailed role permissions that eliminate the need for custom roles

Starting January 2023, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge will discontinue support for a key element that makes our browser extension work. WalkMe’s new v 4.x.x.x User Extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge includes improvements and solves this issue. It will be released on July 17, 2022.

• WalkMe will automatically gradually migrate the majority of existing Chrome and Edge extensions
• Most customers will not need to take any action and this will have no effect on operations
• We will reach to discuss the installation process with any customers who need to take action

Firefox’s changed security policy in v 101.0.1 blocks the WalkMe extension by default for cross-domain storage

• Long-term solution: a gradual roll out will enforce publish settings for all customer systems
• Short-term solution: WalkMe will not load for end-users who installed Firefox v 101.0.1
  • End-user needs to :
    • Browse to about:config
    • Find network.cookie.cookieBehavior
    • Change from level 5 to level 4

Funnel data is now available in real-time.

You can now create up to 10 Activity Board views.

• Existing frequency options (once, once a week, always) are expanded to:

• Users no longer need to configure Time and Date rules in the rule engine to set the desired frequency

Mobile customers can now log in to the Support site using their Mobile Console credentials.

The dictionary population time for Lexicon was reduced from 24 hours to up to 2 hours.

• Easily switch between systems to add items to the Workstation Menu without recreating them.

• Content builders are now able to change environments in Workstation Electron

Users can now save notifications as templates in the Template Gallery.

Export a summary of all notification analytics from the Communications Overview and send via email to stakeholders.

• You can now stop recurrence after a user clicks specific button(s)
• This can be determined when creating a notification

The Users page has been reintroduced with the same useful data, but with added filtering capabilities and improved design.

Based on technical limitations, it is no longer possible to add a system inside Systems Overview in Insights.

You can now filter data by time range in UI Intelligence. This can be set for a specific form or via the dashboard view.

Capture an element on the Microsoft Dynamics sidebar and the related WalkMe item will play whether the sidebar is expanded or collapsed. This only affects new captures.

Use an array type to group IDP attributes and use it for segmentation or Insights filters

This version contains a development regarding Process Discovery for Chrome, Edge Chromium & Firefox extensions that does not affect the end-user.

This version contains a development regarding manifest V2 and V3 that does not affect the end-user.

• If a branch has a step connected to it, the button/text which opens the branch can't be deleted

Insights Digital Adoption Projects templates now support SuccessFactors in addition to Salesforce Lightning

• The rule type "User Activity > Onboarding Task" now supports checking if an Onboarding Task was completed in any case, whether it was set up to measure by goal completion or by Smart Walk-Thru completion.
• This applies to rules that already exist in the Editor - once you open the Rule Engine, you'll see the change. This does not affect the way the rule is checked.

The Element Library for Salesforce Lightning is now up to date with the Summer 2022 release

You can now export data to xAPI format from the TeachMe Users page to integrate with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• You can now use the multiple value syntax when creating multiple statements in one rule
• To add multiple values, type in Any("value1","value2","value3")

The new Dynamics package version 2.2.1 includes support for WalkMe loading within Microsoft Dynamics views in Teams. Note: this is not a general solution for WalkMe on Teams, rather a specific solution for Dynamics views within Teams

Builders can now access the Assets Library and use uploaded files directly from Smart Walk-Thru steps and Popup Steps

WalkMe's Solution Accelerators for SAP SuccessFactors have been updated for the First Half 2022 release

A new app is available in the console to help analyze the performance of your WalkMe content

• New design added for the Editor's empty state that includes a quick access to the Solutions Gallery.

 Improvements have been made to IDP in the Admin Center:

• • You can now assign any IDP to any specific environment.
  • You can now assign more than 1 IDP to the same system on different environments.
  • You can now search and filter systems from the IDP Overview page and Manage System Assignment form.

• You can now click on users metrics and a panel will open with the users list in the Insights Overview and Tracked Events pages in Insights
• This list can be downloaded as a CSV file

Insights Reports can only be shared with a maximum of 15 recipients

The “Load more” button has been replaced with pagination for an improved user experience.
