Install WalkMe for Oracle On Demand

Let’s Get WalkMe to Your Users!

There are just a couple steps to getting WalkMe up and running on Oracle On Demand. Once complete, your WalkMe content will immediately be accessible and WalkMe will begin collecting data. Talk to you Account Manager about the best timing for deployment on your site.

There are just two components to get up and running:

1) Configure the WalkMe Applet
  1. Login to Oracle On Demand as Administrator
  2. Click Admin
  3. Click Application Customization
  4. Click Global Web Applets
  5. Click New
  6. Fill in the form according to the picture bellow. Enter the WalkMe snippet code into the HTML Head Additions. Need help finding the WalkMe Snippet?
  7. Click ‘Save’

2) Customize the Action Bar

  1. Click Admin again
  2. Click Application Customization
  3. Click Action Bar Layout
  4. If you don’t have a customize layout click Add New Layout, set name, and click Next. If you already have a customized Layout, click Edit
  5. Move WalkMe to the left column
  6. Click Finish
  7. If you edited an existing custom Layout, you’re done! If you created a new Layout, click on Admin again
  8. Click User Management and Access Controls
  9. Click Role Management
  10. Click Edit next to the specific role
  11. Select WalkMe Layout to be the Action Bar Layout and Click Finish
  12. Sign out and sign back in to enable the change. You should now see WalkMe on your Action Bar.

Note: Mobile Web is not supported for Oracle
