Starting Monday, October 12, the Digital Adoption Institute (DAI) will run on WalkMe Learning Arc, our AI-native learning platform. The DAI name, URL, and Single Sign-On (SSO) login all stay the same — nothing changes about how you sign in or where you go. This article covers what to expect from the switch, including course content, certifications, and where in-progress work stands.

Why are we switching to WalkMe Learning Arc?

WalkMe is excited to power the Digital Adoption Institute (DAI) with WalkMe Learning Arc, our own purpose-built, AI-native learning platform. We believe it's the best learning solution available and will give learners a superior experience – and using it ourselves allows us to fuel product innovation for all of our customers.

WalkMe Learning Arc is a modern learning platform that unites intelligent content creation, in-app delivery, and continuous reinforcement. It allows you to embed learning directly into daily workflows so learners can acquire, apply, and retain the right skills at the right moment.

Will the platform still be called the Digital Adoption Institute?

Yes. The platform will continue to be branded as the Digital Adoption Institute (DAI). The Digital Adoption Institute is the name of our learning portal, and WalkMe Learning Arc is the backend platform it's built upon.

When will the transition happen? Will there be any disruption in service or access?

The DAI officially transitions to Learning Arc on Monday, October 12. There will be no system downtime. When you go to log in on October 12, you will be automatically redirected to the new learning experience.

Where do I access the DAI on WalkMe Learning Arc?

There will be no change to how you access the Digital Adoption Institute. The URL will be the same, so you can still head to https://training.walkme.com/ and log in with your WalkMe Editor credentials using Single Sign-On (SSO), just as you do today. You can also always access the Digital Adoption Institute via the “Training” text at the top of the WalkMe Community.

What type of content will be available in WalkMe Learning Arc?

All of the main courses and certifications from the Digital Adoption Institute are available on WalkMe Learning Arc. The content itself remains unchanged, though you may notice some differences in how courses are organized within the new platform. As part of this transition, the Education Team has taken the opportunity to remove some outdated and unused content to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Do I need to update training links in my internal resources?

Yes, if you have linked to DAI courses, curricula, or exams in any internal knowledge resources, the links will need to be updated. Our team has created a course mapping guide that provides a list of courses and their updated URLs.

Where do I find my certifications and progress?

Your completion data and certifications will be migrated to WalkMe Learning Arc, so your existing progress will be preserved. Once the migration is complete, you will be able to view your certifications and progress directly within the new experience.

Will I have to redo courses I already completed in the Digital Adoption Institute?

No, your course completion history will be migrated to WalkMe Learning Arc, so you will not need to retake any courses you have already completed.

What about in-progress courses? Will that progress also transfer over?

If you have a course that is currently in progress that you're planning to complete, please make sure to log in to the current Institute experience and complete it before Thursday, October 8th. We will migrate completed courses and certifications but cannot migrate in-progress courses that are not yet complete.

I completed some courses in the past, but they are not available on the new platform. Did some progress not transfer?

Some older DAI courses were intentionally not moved to WalkMe Learning Arc as part of the transition. These courses contained outdated content and have since been replaced by newer, more relevant learning content.

This does not mean your progress was lost. Any applicable courses, certification exams, or journeys that you previously completed and that were migrated to WalkMe Learning Arc should be reflected as completed.

I receive monthly progress reports as a DAI admin. Will I still be able to access these with WalkMe Learning Arc?

Yes, you will still have full visibility into your team's progress. We are introducing a brand-new reporting tool directly within the WalkMe Community. While your existing reports will not migrate automatically, recreating them in our new, integrated tool is quick and easy.
