On-Demand AI features are launched by the user using an AI-powered conversational search experience, providing context, next steps, and the ability to ask follow-up questions directly in the flow of work.

The AI Center is a console-based hub for configuring AI Answers, uploading knowledge sources, managing user access, and tracking usage.
Scan web pages or upload files to support AI Answers
Create custom Q&A responses prioritized over scanned files
Restrict knowledge access by user segment or system

AI Chat is a conversational interface that routes questions or requests to the most relevant AI chat bot (Company AI, Public AI, or ActionBot). Users can interact through a Unified Chat experience—which blends all AI sources into a single conversation—or switch to Independent Chat mode to engage directly with a specific AI bot.
Included Capabilities:
Company AI: Retrieves responses from an organization's internal knowledge sources using AI Answers technology
Public AI: Handles open-ended queries using external LLMs
Text to Action: Users write a request, and AI Chat suggests direct actions—like launching a WalkMe flow, triggering an ActionBot, or opening a tool
AI in ActionBot: Supports dynamic, multi-step ActionBot conversations to complete structured tasks

The Pro Menu is the user access point for AI Chat. It can be customized and deployed across desktop, web, and mobile systems.

The AI Answers dashboard in the Insights Console helps you visualize how users engage with AI Chat and understand where support is most needed.
Track metrics like:
Total number of users asking questions
Average questions per user
Most common topics and unanswered queries
Feedback trends (positive/negative)
Use these insights to identify knowledge gaps, refine your content, and improve AI performance over time.
