Brief Overview

WalkMe Mobile now supports different role types for users with access to the Mobile Console and Power Mode.

Configuring role types allows for organizations to manage the users collaborating on WalkMe Mobile projects.

To add a new user to the Mobile Console, please contact WalkMe support.

Role Types

The four role types are:

Viewer
- View only, no edit rights
Content Editor
- Create and edit campaigns, segments, goals, etc
- Capture steps, elements, screens in power mode
Publisher
- Publish campaigns and goals
Admin
- App management in the console
- Create and download reports

How It Works

It is not necessary to have roles for your users. If you have a specific use case for roles, they will need to be added by your Customer Success Manager or WalkMe contact. Please reach out to them if you wish to make changes.

Note:

Role types can be configured in tandem so a single user can have multiple roles assigned to them.
- Does not apply to Viewer role type
A user with no role assigned (default state) has no limitations.
