Brief Overview

By default, the WalkMe widget opens the WalkMe menu. If you want to use a launcher to open the menu instead, you'll need to turn off the widget first and then configure a launcher with the Open Menu action.

How to Turn Off the Widget

1. Open the WalkMe Editor
2. Select Customize and then Customize Player
3. Open the Widget tab
4. Set the display to None

How to Create a Menu Launcher

1. Open the Launcher application in the editor
2. Connect the launcher to the element where you want it to appear in your application
3. Go to Launcher Options and then Interaction and then Change Launcher to set the launcher's appearance:
   • Choose from the default launcher images
   • Upload your own image
   • Create a launcher image in the editor
4. In the Interaction tab, set the action to Open Menu
5. Save and publish the launcher
