Brief Overview

Use the portal learning content page to complete your courses and microlearnings. It streamlines the educational experience by providing intuitive navigation and a focused workspace. This setup enhances user engagement and facilitates efficient learning, making it an invaluable tool for users seeking to expand their knowledge and skills.

How It Works

Portal learning content overview

The portal learning content page includes two main sections:

  1. Portal navigation: Move around the Portal and access user options
  2. Learning workspace: View, complete, and track your learning content

1. Portal navigation

Use the Portal navigation controls to move through the Portal.

Left navigation

  • Home: Return to the portal homepage
  • My Learning: Open your dashboard to view saved, in-progress, or completed content

Header

  • Logo: Return to the homepage
  • Language selector: Choose your preferred portal language
  • User account: View your profile details or sign out

2. Learning workspace

The Learning workspace is where you view, read, watch, and complete your courses or microlearnings. It includes three areas:

  1. Top panel: Displays course details and quick actions
  2. Learning content panel: Shows the course outline and progress
  3. Main canvas: Displays and runs the learning content

Top panel

Displays key details and actions:

  • Home: Return to the homepage
  • Course or microlearning name
  • Current content title

Available actions:

  • Translate to: Use machine translation to translate learning content content
  • About: View content details
  • Save content: Add item to your saved content
  • Share: Copy a shareable link
  • Expand: View content in full screen

Learning content panel

Use the learning content panel to browse and track your learning progress:

  • Outline: View all lessons and quizzes
  • Content type: Shows if the item is a course or microlearning
  • Progress: Displays icons for not started, in progress, or completed

Available actions:

Collapse/Expand: Minimize or reopen the panel

Main canvas

The main area where you view and interact with lessons and quizzes.

Lessons

Lessons appear in the order shown in the Learning content panel. Each lesson may include different types of interactive content.

  1. Select Next or Previous to move through the lesson

Lesson elements may include:

  • Text: Read explanations, tips, or background information
  • Image: View visuals that illustrate key points
  • Video: Watch short clips or presentations to learn concepts in context
  • Screen Recording: See a recorded process or workflow in action
  • Embedded Content: Interact with links or tools directly inside the lesson
  • Simulation: Practice steps in a guided, interactive environment
  • Self Check: Answer short questions to test what you've learned
  • Attachment: Download supporting files such as PDFs or guides
  • SAP Enable Now Content: View integrated SAP Enable Now learning materials

Simulations

Simulations appear as part of a course and may open in different modes, depending on how the course was designed. You can:

  • Watch: View a guided demo of the process (Demo mode)
  • Practice: Follow step-by-step guidance in an interactive mode (Practice mode)

Quizzes

Quizzes may appear throughout the course to help you check your understanding.

  • Each question appears one at a time
  • Depending on the setup, you may submit answers after each question or all at once
  • The completion page shows your score, pass/fail status
  • If retries are allowed, select Try Again to retake the quiz

  • The following languages are officially supported for translating learning content:
    • Arabic (ar), Bulgarian (bg), Catalan (ca), Chinese Simplified (zh-CN), Chinese Traditional (zh-TW), Czech (cs), Danish (da), German (de), Greek (el), English (en), Spanish (es), Estonian (et), Finnish (fi), French (fr), Hebrew (he), Hindi (hi), Croatian (hr), Hungarian (hu), Italian (it), Japanese (ja), Kazakh (kk), Korean (ko), Lithuanian (lt), Latvian (lv), Malay (ms), Dutch (nl), Norwegian (no), Polish (pl), Portuguese (pt), Romanian (ro), Russian (ru), Serbian (sr), Slovak (sk), Slovenian (sl), Swedish (sv), Thai (th), Turkish (tr), Ukrainian (uk), and Vietnamese (vi)
