• There’s now an option to copy the original URL from when a form was initially captured

• To use copy form URL, you must enable it in the UI Intelligence Settings tab:

  • Click the UI Intelligence tab in the Console side bar

  • Select the Settings tab

  • Click the Form Page URLs toggle to enable

• On January 7th all users will move to the new editor design, and there will no longer be an option to go back to the old design

• There is now an ability to add shadow to the ShoutOut canvas

The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT™) has been updated for the WalkMe Player

• Before, a course wasn’t marked as completed on the UI side for users who finished all the items in a course. This happened due to a server storage problem.
• In order to fix the UI, we released a hotfix which made TeachMe to run a check to mark a course as completed in case all its items are completed, and update the storage again. However, this fix didn’t send an Insight event for course completion.
• The new fix sends the Insights completion event, but has a few issues:
  • The course will be marked as completed only the next time a user will open TeachMe. This means that even though it took them a day to complete the course, it can show as if it took longer.
  • Users who already completed the course, won't receive the completion event.
  • We don't know who the affected users are.

• A bug fixed with opening the browser from the Editor app that some customers experienced

• Before, when users interacted with a ShoutOut in the Visual Designer and hovered over an image with an action attached to it, they didn't get a pointer mouse and therefore didn't know the image was clickable

Detractors, passives, and promoters are now displayed with two decimal digits for better accuracy and understanding of the data

• If a CSV file contains more than 10k phrases, an error message will appear notifying the user that the maximum allowed in a single upload is 10k phrases
• If this character � appears in the file, the upload will be blocked, as this is a sign of wrong encoding 
• If a question mark (?) appears in the middle of a word (when it’s not the final character of the phrase and there’s no space after it), or if more than one question appears in sequence (??), it will show in the ambiguities window for verification

• New version with new colors and icons
• New WalkMe icon for the toolbar on the user's machine

All Workstation users have successfully been migrated to the new Workstation UI, providing a unified and enhanced user experience. As part of this upgrade, the option to switch between UIs has been removed from the settings page.

The Get Asset Multi-Language API now returns the actual translation file instead of a link to download the file

All builders with DeepUI can now use Assistant to instantly resolve issues with supported items directly from the Editor, eliminating the need to submit a support ticket

In case a user has manually added languages, and they order a translation from Lilt - if their language name is the same as the language name from Lilt language list, and the short code is different, the language will be disabled, and the user will be notified to switch to the ISO code first.

Users now can download the SCORM Package (.zip) from WalkMe Share, so they can import and use it on external apps.

The fuzzy search auto-correct, which was previously released with a library-based correction, has been enhanced with AI-based correction capabilities using OpenAI

• Following Apple guidelines, on June 30 WalkMe Mobile iOS SDK minimum deployment target is changing from iOS8 to iOS11
• This will have no impact on end-users that already have WalkMe installed. However, upgrading to WalkMe's newest iOS version will require iOS's minimum deployment target 11.0+

The Solution Accelerators for Salesforce Lightning have been updated for the Summer 2023 Salesforce Lightning release.

WalkMe Editor scheduled maintenance on Sunday, May 28th 2023, between 9 am and 11 am TLV time (3am - 5am EST). WalkMe Editor will work as usual, users won't be affected. Only builders working with the Editor might get errors - we will monitor it closely.

• Offers a simple and unified way to reset WalkMe's browser-level data while testing and troubleshooting WalkMe items. With WalkMe's updated Storage API, you can manipulate local data for testing purposes, such as resetting an item's Auto Play state or clearing WalkMe Data
• Note: clearing cache and cookies in order to reset WalkMe's browser-level data is no longer available for systems using WalkMe's Extension Storage method. Therefore, the recommended method for manipulating WalkMe data across all web systems is by leveraging the Storage API

New version of the Salesforce Lightning Element Library now available: Summer 2023 - Latest (Salesforce)

• The version has to be manually downloaded from WalkMe's website

• Two new installers for the Editor application added: 32 bit MSI and 64 bit MSI, previously we had only EXE versions available

Customers can now order translation in a specific language and dialect [e.g - English (US) or English (UK)].

This is the first phase of changing the Editor main screen to make it more modern and intuitive:

• Items' icons were changed

• Item status is now shown as a separate indicator next to the item icon

• Assigning segments was moved next to the Play icon

We've reached the second milestone in the Editor to Console transition! Introducing the API Connections page with comprehensive details and actions like search, filter, test, delete, and duplicate.

The conversation analytics side panel is starting to get populated with significant and impactful data. It currently contains aggregated data on all conversations and in the future will include detailed data for specific conversations. Until then, get insights into your conversations with these new widgets:

• Conversation overview: Total number of conversations started and ended successfully
• Most popular: Displays the most played conversation and most searched terms

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the security of our platform, WalkMe now enforces IDP based identification on all outgoing connections from the ActionBot for customers who have IDP integrated. Organizations not utilizing IDP will be shown a warning message when creating a connection to implement an IDP before April, 2024.

We've added more details to the Notification engagement analytics.

• Exciting updates to notification engagement metrics: we’ve added tooltips to the widgets, and enhanced the targeted user count, and improved the CTA tracking.
• Analytics include engagement from the Workstation Mobile app.
• The Communication Center's Clicks pie chart analytics got an update too. The title changed to “All Clicks” and it shows click data from more action types.

The Workstation Dashboard on the WalkMe Console can now present data per environment and be filtered with audiences.

Permalinks now offer the capability to send users to specific locations within the app, including to the Resources, Notifications, ActionBot, Settings pages, ensuring precise and targeted user experiences.

We’ve increased the limitation of List Views that you can choose from. It was 20, now you will see up to 80 when editing the widget.

You can now enhance your SAP ECC GUI (Enterprise Resource Planning & Management system) experience with WalkMe Guidance. Plus, enjoy the convenience of easy access to SAP Resources through the new homepage widget.

You no longer need to worry about precise spelling or exact matches. The new Fuzzy Search intelligently understands intent and provides the most relevant results, even if there are minor errors in the search query. (Soon we'll have advanced AI correction)!

Users can click on a new Expand button in Salesforce search results to access valuable information. The QuickSync screen is generated using advanced AI techniques.

This new selected element setting for Launchers and SmartTips makes it so WalkMe automatically detects the proper setting for the element and enables it accordingly.

Some adjustments were made to the microcopy of the Workstation Couldn't start screen. The link to the Help Center was also removed.

Newly created systems have the extension package disabled by default

The Element Library for SAP SuccessFactors is now compatible with the 1H 2023 release

Added a link in the Smart Walk-Thru Initiators panel to improve the Builder experience and make it easier to access and add the SWT to the menu.

• Name was changed from "Attributes" to "Dynamic text attributes" to align it with it's actual functionality and differentiate it from "User Attributes"
• Removed it from "Admin Settings". It now can be accessed directly from the Editor's menu

A new interface in the Admin Center for self-hosted customers to manage their hosting location and download the WalkMe package. The new interface unifies the process for snippet and extension deployment methods. In this way, backoffice users are no longer required (after enabling) to change the hosting location.

This latest version contains bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features:

• Notifications on Mobile Workstation have a new look! We've added a new tab for Unread Notifications, which includes an indication, and redesigned the interface to make it more user-friendly.
• Read notifications in full-screen. You can now view the entire  notification in full screen by tapping on it from the Notification List or via the push notification. Notifications are only marked as read after they are viewed it in full-screen.

New and improved tooltips have been added when hovering over metrics in the Insights Overview, Apps Overview, and Systems Overview pages in Insights to offer more understanding and a better user experience

The SAP SuccessFactors H1 2023 release (June 2, 2023) includes the ability for third party approved vendors to integrate their JavaScript snippets into SuccessFactors pages. WalkMe is the first approved vendor.

We’ve added more features and better functionality to improve the UII experience! Changes to the UII Dashboard

• Recommendations: Get actionable tasks that will help improve your form’s usability and submission rates. Here’s how it works:
  • UII diagnoses an issue
  • Directs you to the friction point within the form
  • Gives ideas and actionable recommendations to resolve it
• New Highlights widget: This new dashboard widget display forms with highest error rate, time spent, and lowest completion rate, with relevant recommendations linked to each
• New Recently Analyzed Forms widget: See which forms were analyzed by the UII algorithm in last 30 days

• Tagging system: Use auto-generated tags or add your own for easier sorting and filtering
• Automatic grouping: Forms with similar titles are automatically grouped together, and now In cases where there are more than two forms with identical names and different fields number, the two most popular variations will be presented
• Last Seen column: Shows the last time UI Intelligence captured an active session on this specific form

• Color change for the heat map: To reduce confusion, we changed the color scale on the heat map from red and green to pink and yellow
• New metric for forms: Number of Analyzed forms shows the total form views analyzed and validated within the selected timeframe

The option is added to add a link or action to an image. “Action” section (same like for the button) is added above the Styling section.

Button widget now supports multi-line in the Visual Designer Dynamic Layout

• Button will break to several rows if there is no space when it's moved and when a lot of text is typed in. Canvas and frame will not extend based on the button width. When a button is copied, it will go down a row.

• Added the option for the user to see a screenshot of the screen and the element they captured for Dynamic Text Attributes
• Removed the Attributes section from the Admin Settings screen

Conversations that don’t have a bot yet can now be assigned to one directly from the Conversation page on Console

• Adding the option for the user to see a screenshot of the screen and the element they captured for Dynamic Text Attributes (that are based on On Screen Element)
• Removing the Attributes section from the Admin Settings screen (there will be a disclaimer so that users know where to find its new location)
• Changing the official name from Attributes to Dynamic text attributes

You now have more control over your enterprise search. New commands include in, add, and remove to quickly filter apps.

You can now edit the Jira widget and change the tabs by creating a custom display using JQL expression filters.

DocuSign envelopes now show a list of users that haven’t signed the document yet, so you can easily review the progress.

You can now add up to 100 individual recipients to a notification without creating an audience. 

ActionBot on Console continues to grow! We’ve added some more functionality to the ActionBot Conversations page, including:

• Connected items popup: Click on a connected action to see a list of all linked items
• Quick actions: Edit, duplicate, delete, publish, and unpublish conversations from the Console
• Publish all connected items: When publishing a conversation, you can easily publish any unpublished connected items too.

You can now log into mobile Workstation with your email or pair it with another Workstation by connecting them via a verification or QR code.

Previously, a push notification with an audience wouldn’t alert mobile Workstation users. Now notifications with audiences will alert.

• New option allows you to create an attribute that is a fixed date, using a date picker instead of manually typing in a date
• This will help to avoid confusion and errors related to different date formats (US / Europe)
• When a user types text of an attribute that we recognize as a date, a warning will appear recommending to use Date type

• Text for "Constantly check" under Launcher and ST Display Condition changed from "Constantly check the condition to decide whether to display the item" to "Constantly check the condition to decide whether to remove the item"
• This was done in order to better reflect what runtime actually does with this configuration

• New option added to allow builders automatically remove text that was previously inserted to a text field

• Color picker for balloon colors now opens up instead of down - to make it easier to access in all screen resolutions
• Users can now pick a color by pressing Enter and not only by clicking the OK button in the color picker modal

• SmartTip set will now play all the SmartTips disregarding any conditions set for them
• This is common behavior for all the items, only the SmartTip set was behaving differently considering conditions
• Now all the items are aligned

We are starting to roll out the latest configurations to all ServiceNow systems so they are ready for using newer ServiceNow features like Agent Workspace, Next UI ITSM, and "Now" Workspaces.

This new version includes performance improvements

When new Editor systems enable the Solutions Gallery, it will activate the Element Library repository but builders will not be able select or see the green border around Element Library elements. Builders will still be able to download and use Solution Accelerators connected to the Element Library.

UI of common settings in Launchers, SmartTips, and Smart Walk-Thru balloons has changed:

• Launchers: All position related settings under the Appearance tab aggregated to one section - Position
• SmartTips: Position and Lock to Element settings combined to one, under the Appearance tab 
• Smart Walk-Thru: "Align to text" feature minimized and moved so the balloon triggers will be easier to see and interact with

Few updates in the Editor content guidance:

• "Success" button removed from the top of the Editor. It used to open the Success Hub pop up with useful links to schedule a call with or email the CSM or subscribe to events. Links are now placed in a more convenient way in the help menu. 

• Editor Updates button at the top of the Editor removed. Updates are still located in the help menu.

• Tip Tuesday links removed from the menu. Only one link leading to the Tip Tuesday page in the community stayed.

• Menu Organizer link in the menu removed. It has its own button in the Editor footer. 

• WalkMe Marketplace link in the menu which actually takes users to walkme.com removed

The following enhancements were made to the Report Builder:

Activity Board subscription emails can now be sent in Japanese

New users will be introduced to Workstation with a a new onboarding guide. Setting them up for success using two flows:

1. Integrations Setup Wizard - Allows new users to easily connect Workstation with their enterprise applications.
2. Product Tour - Introduces Workstation features (Search, Widgets, Sidebar) in a brief guided tour.

The ActionBot is starting it's exciting transition into the Console, including many design and functionality changes to improve the builder experience and reduce friction. The Conversations list is the first part that has been moved and it contains new data and capabilities that did not exist in the past:

• • Search for conversations
  • Filter and sort the list
  • Data on what Actions are connected in each conversation
  • Creator's name
  • Easy switch between environments and systems
• It is also connected to the Editor and allows you to create a conversation and get redirected to the Editor to continue creating the conversation.

• Coveo is a software-as-a-service search engine which integrates to different application.
• You can integrate Coveo to Workstation enterprise search to easily find items across Coveo's connected platforms.

You can now update existing custom templates by saving the template using an existing template name.

You can now have hyperlinks in notifications open notification in "New window" or "This Window" in Workstation.

Choose from one of three options for the format of the date on your Workstation homepage.  Go to Settings → Preferences page → Date display.

Quickly solve or report building problems directly from the Editor using DeepUI AI. WalkMe Assistant helps builders when they encounter WalkMe items that aren't behaving as intended by helping to resolve the issue on the spot or by submitting a report directly from within the Editor.

• Assistant is in gradual release, so you may not have access to it yet, but it's coming!
• You will see an Assist Me button in the item settings of the Editor.
• Assistant will be available to all in March 2023.

Create a mobile web system from an existing web system in the Admin Center

It is now possible to select more than 12 Tracked Events (used to be a limitation) for export and subscription when the Select Tracked Events toggle is enabled in Reports.

• In order to prevent scenarios in which search results takes too long to appear due to poor API performance of 3rd parties, we added a limit of 5 seconds to the API response
• If an API response will not arrive within 5 seconds, we will not display the search results from that 3rd party for that specific search session
• Search results might be partial in light of that. No disclaimer will be prompted to users at the moment

• Unsupported version warning message will appear if the customer has users using an unsupported version of Workstation  

• Fast scroll back to top on search results in the Workstation app

• Configure and Deploy: Additional file and instructions on usage

• Users are able to quickly review and access Expense Reports that are either assigned or pending their approval
• Allows users to follow up on Expense Report statuses, ensuring everything is submitted on time for payment

• The Integrations Search API allows WalkMe customers and partners to connect integrations to Workstation Enterprise Search on their side. They will get the search queries done by users from the app and provide search results in a response that will appear in the app
• This allows adding search capabilities without the need to wait for the integrations roadmap and controlling the experience of the Workstation App

Updates to WalkMe's Element Library for Salesforce Lightning for the Spring '23 Salesforce Release

You may have noticed some changes to the way we explain SmartTips and their style options. The SmartTips themselves haven't changed, just the explanations!

System configuration is now handled within the Admin Center during the new System creation process. The Editor System platform configuration page has been removed from the Solutions Gallery.

• Workstation inner executables (.exe) are now signed with WalkMe's official certification
• This security enhancement makes the Workstation compatible with Enterprise security restrictions
• Executables that weren't signed are related to Squirrel auto-update engine
• In addition, this unlocks a migration blocker

The Reload Workstation button was moved to the Help page  

ActionBot conversations in Workstation can be segmented using IDP segmentation.

• Users can now choose between 12-hour format and 24-hour format to be displayed in the Home screen header's clock
