Always-On AI: Getting Started

Last Updated June 26, 2025

Brief Overview

Always-On AI provides proactive support embedded directly in user workflows. These features surface based on user behavior, system context, and organizational rules—without needing users to ask for help.

Onboarding Checklist

1. Connect Knowledge Sources to the AI Center

The AI Center is where you scan and upload knowledge sources, manage user access, and track usage. These sources help the Action Bar generate smarter, more relevant responses when users interact with launcher actions.

  • Upload docs or web pages to support AI Answers

  • Create custom Q&A responses prioritized over scanned files

  • Restrict knowledge access by user segment or system

  • Validate CRM entries or performance review text for quality and completeness

  • Reduce friction and rework by helping users get it right the first time

  • Automatically suggest improvements when inputs don't meet validation criteria

AI Conditions

AI Conditions are natural-language operators added to the Condition Builder. They allow builders to trigger WalkMe content based on text meaning or tone (For example, "sentiment is inappropriate") rather than exact-match logic.

  • Trigger alerts when users write problematic or non-compliant content

  • Define nuanced logic that adapts based on context rather than hardcoded rules
