Use Cases for Search Ranking
- If you have a Walk-Thru for employees to request leave, users might search for Vacation, Sick, or PTO
- If you have multiple Walk-Thrus about how to pull reports, users might rely on descriptions to find the specific one they need
When users open the Menu and type into the Search box, WalkMe checks the titles of items first, and then the descriptions. If there are keywords associated with any of the items, those will be checked as well. The results are displayed in order of relevance.
You can access the Search Ranking page from the Settings of your Walk-Thru.
Description: Type any descriptive text that will help users to understand the benefit of each Walk-Thru.
Keywords: Choose keywords that are not found in the title or description to make searches more effective for users. To add a keyword, type a single word and click Add, or press Enter after each.
