Brief Overview

Environments let you manage where and how WalkMe is deployed on your system. Each system includes two default environments — Production and Test — and you can create custom environments to match your organization's deployment workflow.

System Management

Access

To access users management settings:

1. Open the Systems page in the WalkMe Admin Center:
   
   • US Data Center
   • EU Data Center
   • SAP US Data Center
   • SAP EU Data Center
   • FedRAMP Data Center
   • Canada Data Center
2. Select a system
3. Go to the Evironment tab

How It Works

In the Environment tab, manage all environment related configurations:

• The default "Production" and "Test" environments are automatically created

• These default environments cannot be renamed or deleted
• Select the blue + to create a new custom environment

Once created, you can copy the corresponding snippet for deployment.
If your deployment method uses an extension, configure URLs in the Extension tab.

Renaming and deleting environments

You can rename and delete custom environments but not "Production" and "Test".

1. 1. Hover over the custom environment
   2. Select the Options (three dots) menu
   3. Click Rename or Delete

Restoring deleted environments

1. Go to the Deleted Environments tab
2. Hover over the environment
3. Select the Restore button
