How to Segment the WalkMe Widget
Issue
How can I get the WalkMe Widget and Menu to appear only on specific pages or to a specific group of users?
Solution
Like other WalkMe content, the widget and menu can be segmented based on the options available in the rule engine.
Segmentation
To apply segmentation to your widget, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings menu in the editor
- Click Customize content style
- In the Customize Player tab, go to Settings
- Next to Display Conditions, click Set Rules (or Update Rules if segmentation rules are already applied)
- Create your segmentation rules
- Click Save
- Publish settings in each environment where you'd like the segmentation to go into effect
