Mobile: What is WalkMe Mobile and How Is It Used?

Brief Overview 

WalkMe Mobile is WalkMe's digital adoption platform for Native and Hybrid mobile applications. WalkMe Web and WalkMe Mobile are built on different technologies and have different capabilities. Some examples of the differences include the following:

  • WalkMe Web uses the Document Object Model (DOM) to manipulate web pages, while WalkMe Mobile uses coded elements
  • WalkMe Web content is built on the New Editor, while WalkMe Mobile content is built on the Mobile Console's Campaign Wizard or directly in the mobile app using WalkMe's Power Mode
  • WalkMe Web is implemented via JavaScript snippet or Player Extension, while WalkMe Mobile is implemented via the WalkMe Mobile SDK
Don't confuse WalkMe Mobile & WalkMe Mobile Web

  • WalkMe Mobile and WalkMe Mobile Web are two different things. WalkMe Mobile is used to enable WalkMe on mobile applications through the WalkMe Mobile SDK
  • Whereas, WalkMe Mobile Web is used to optimize WalkMe Web applications for mobile device screens through WalkMe Web technology
