Brief Overview

A DAP Professional has responsibilities aligning to one or more of the common digital adoption roles. Get to know the learning paths required for each role to successfully run and impact the DAP program.

Getting Started

To get started, you will need to ensure that you have the access and tools needed to begin the learning path. Complete the following:

1. Notify your DAP Admin

Your DAP Admin will create a WalkMe account for you associated with your email address. They will also set your permissions based on your role. You will receive a Welcome email to activate your account and get started. 

2. Download the WalkMe Editor

The Editor is the main software you'll use to create and manage content. Click here to download

Note

This is required for those with Builder, Project Lead, Designer, or Program Management responsibilities, and optional for all other roles.

3. Sign up for the Digital Adoption Institute

The Digital Adoption Institute (DAI) is your key to access self-paced training & certification. All you need is an active WalkMe Editor account!

  • After signing into your WalkMe Editor, access the Community using your Editor credentials. Once you've logged into the Community, you should be able to access the DAI.
  • If you're having issues accessing the DAI, please email training@walkme.com for additional guidance.

4. Bookmark key sites 

Each role should bookmark the following, unless otherwise noted.

Digital Adoption Institute

WalkMe World Community

Console (Not needed for Designer or Architect)

Admin Center (Not needed for Data Analyst, Designer, Champion, or Architect)

To have the highest chance at excelling, WalkMe recommends completing the following courses in the order listed for each role.

Are you one person with multiple roles on a Digital Adoption Team?

If your role includes any Building responsibility, it is recommended to start with the Builder enablement path. Also notice - all paths start the same with WalkMe Fundamentals.
