If you see the message "Hmm… Looks like we can't find the element for the following step" when playing a Smart Walk-Thru from the editor, WalkMe is unable to find the element for the first step or first playable step.
The error message indicates which step is trying to play. If that isn't the step you expect to play first, review the Start Points associated with that step.
If the failing step should be able to play because its element is visible on the page, you may need to adjust the element's precision settings.
Safe Start redirects users to a set page if a Smart Walk-Thru is played from a location where it cannot start, preventing the error from appearing to end users.
